Job Description

The position of Sales Promoter-Cosmetics entails representing a range of beauty and skincare products in various retail settings to drive brand awareness and boost sales. This role requires a dynamic individual who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a deep passion for the cosmetics industry. As a promoter, you will interact directly with customers, providing advice and information about the products to encourage purchases. You will also collaborate closely with store staff to ensure proper product placement and attractive displays. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a comprehensive understanding of current beauty trends, translating that into an effective sales strategy that benefits both the brand and the retail outlet.


Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to clearly explain product features and benefits.
  • Demonstrate the use of cosmetics products to attract customer interest.
  • Provide accurate and detailed product information to consumers.
  • Work closely with store staff to organize and maintain product displays.
  • Achieve individual sales targets by promoting new and existing products.
  • Gather customer feedback and report significant trends to management.
  • Participate in events and promotions to enhance brand visibility and sales.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with store management for replenishments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and store staff.
  • Assist in the creation of visual displays to increase purchasing decisions.
  • Stay informed on the latest beauty industry trends and product innovations.
  • Participate in training workshops to stay updated on product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a sales promoter, preferably in the cosmetics sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Deep knowledge of current beauty and skincare trends and products.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekend and holiday shifts.
  • High level of confidence in direct customer engagement and product pitching.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
