Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Officer to join our team specializing in the tyre industry. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to expand our market presence and achieve sales targets. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills coupled with a deep understanding of the tyre market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a passion for the automotive sector, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for tyre sales within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tyre needs.
  • Achieve sales targets through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify new prospects and understand competitive landscape.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential corporate customers.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and pricing agreements with customers to maximize profitability.
  • Provide excellent after-sales support and address any client queries or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Generate periodic sales reports and forecasts to inform management decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote our tyre products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, specifically within the automotive or tyre industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to overcome sales objections.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to travel frequently to client locations and industry events as required.
