Sales Merchandiser - Home Appliances

The Sales Merchandiser – Home Appliances is responsible for ensuring the effective presentation, visibility, and availability of home appliance products in retail outlets. This role bridges the gap between sales and marketing by ensuring that products are displayed to drive maximum customer engagement and sales. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage inventory, execute promotions, and foster relationships with retail staff.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper display and visibility of home appliance products in designated retail outlets.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.

• Execute product merchandising plans as per company standards and visual guidelines.

• Work closely with store staff and managers to support product promotion and placement.

• Provide accurate product information and demonstrations to customers when required.

• Track and report on competitor activities and pricing trends in the market.

• Collect customer feedback and report observations to the sales and marketing team.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of displays and shelves.

• Participate in promotional activities and seasonal campaigns.

• Prepare daily and weekly sales and inventory reports.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in marketing or sales is a plus.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail merchandising, preferably in home appliances.

• Good knowledge of home appliance brands and functionality.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in inventory management practices.

• Basic computer skills, especially MS Excel.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Physically fit to handle product displays and movement.
