We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our expansion into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market. This role is pivotal in establishing Vertos presence in the region, driving sales strategies, and building strong relationships with local businesses. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the UAEs financial landscape, a proven track record in B2B sales within the fintech sector, and the ability to navigate the unique cultural and regulatory environment of the UAE.


Responsibilities


  • Market Entry Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan tailored to the UAE, identifying key industries and business segments that would benefit from Vertos services.
  • Business Development: Identify and engage with potential clients, including SMEs and large enterprises involved in international trade, to promote Vertos payment and FX solutions.
  • Partnerships: Establish strategic partnerships with local banks, financial institutions, and industry associations to enhance Vertos market penetration and service offerings.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all sales activities comply with UAE regulations and Vertos internal policies, collaborating closely with compliance and legal teams.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.

Requirements


  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales within the fintech or financial services industry, with at least 2 years focused on the UAE market.
  • Network: Established relationships with key stakeholders in the UAEs financial and business sectors.
  • Cultural Competence: Deep understanding of the UAEs business culture and practices, with the ability to operate effectively in a diverse environment.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the UAEs financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
