Job Description

The Sales Head - Oil & Lubricants plays a critical role in developing and implementing sales strategies for the organization's oil and lubricants division. This position requires a deep understanding of the global oil market, competitive pricing strategies, and innovative marketing techniques. As a senior leader, the Sales Head is responsible for leading the sales team, expanding market share, and driving revenue growth in line with the company's business objectives. The role demands strategic vision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, distributors, and industry partners. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to forecast trends, identify opportunities, and optimize the sales processes across various channels.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team to drive performance and achieve business goals.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design effective promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals with strategic partners and clients.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales team’s skills and knowledge.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies at all times.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in emerging markets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in sales within the oil and lubricants sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills necessary.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide strategic insights effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of oil industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
