Job Description

As a Sales Executive specializing in steel pipes and tubes, you will be instrumental in driving the sales and market share of our comprehensive range of products. This role requires a keen understanding of the steel industry, its trends, and key players. You will engage with clients to develop strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with marketing teams to implement strategic sales plans and be an essential link between the company and its client base. This position calls for a proactive, motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for achieving sales excellence in the steel industry.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and market growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert them into profitable sales engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure sales agreements.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs in the steel industry.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management for strategic planning.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and gather industry insights.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Ensure timely delivery and satisfaction of customer orders and issues resolution.
  • Analyze competitors’ activities and provide strategic feedback to enhance product positioning.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets consistently and with integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in steel pipes and tubes or related industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of the steel industry dynamics and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for sales activities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
