Job Description

The Sales & Customer Service Representative is pivotal in managing client interactions and driving sales within our organization. This role combines the elements of sales, customer service, and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, as well as to expand the customer base. As a Sales & Customer Service Rep, you will engage with customers in person, over the phone, or online, providing product information, assistance, and resolving customer complaints. You will also actively seek out sales opportunities, following up on leads, and contributing to meeting and exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, is highly organized, and is able to deliver exceptional service that enhances the company's reputation. The individual will work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to align on strategies for increasing customer interest and achieving company goals.


Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide timely and accurate information about products and services to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction and sales goals.
  • Perform follow-up activities to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align strategies and reach company sales targets.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards customers at all times.
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls and handle challenging situations calmly.
  • Upsell products and services where applicable to increase company profit margins.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust with customers through open communication.
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions and processing of accounts.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on product and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales representative or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business or related field is a plus.
