Quality Controller to ensure that all vehicles leaving the workshop meet the company’s quality, safety, and performance standards. The Workshop Quality Controller inspects completed jobs, verifies repair accuracy, and ensures that all work complies with manufacturer standards for internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles after service or repair to verify the quality and completeness of work performed.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer repair procedures, torque specifications, and diagnostic protocols.
  • Conduct test drives and system checks for mechanical, electrical, hybrid, and EV systems.
  • Identify and report any faults, incomplete work, or deviations from standards before vehicle delivery.
  • Support technicians by providing feedback and guidance on quality issues or reworks.
  • Monitor workshop rework/comeback cases and recommend preventive actions.
  • Ensure all repair documentation and checklists are properly completed and signed off.
  • Coordinate with Service Advisors to confirm vehicle readiness and delivery status.
  • Maintain calibration and usage records for quality inspection tools and equipment.
  • Promote safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company and manufacturer policies.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience, with at least 2 years in quality control or final inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of Hybrid and EV systems, diagnostic tools, and repair standards.
  • Familiarity with DMS and manufacturer quality reporting systems.
