Job Description

Our company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Store Officer to manage our aluminum-based inventory. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of aluminum products. Your role is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly, aiding in inventory control and monitoring stock levels. You will collaborate closely with the procurement and production teams to maintain adequate stock levels and ensure the right materials are available when needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help our company reduce waste, minimize costs, and maintain efficient inventory systems.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt and storage of aluminum materials to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with procurement and production departments to maintain optimal stock levels of aluminum products.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment in the storage facility.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory adjustments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the condition of stored aluminum materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Develop key performance indicators for warehouse operations and implement improvements as needed.
  • Supervise and train store personnel to enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations regarding storage and handling of aluminum materials.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to improve space utilization and accessibility.
  • Communicate with suppliers to reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues related to shipments.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory status, shortages, and excesses to inform management decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in inventory management or store operations.
  • Proven knowledge of aluminum materials and relevant industry standards.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
