QA Tester - Mobile Application (225-830)

As a QA Tester specializing in mobile applications, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our mobile solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans for both Android and iOS platforms, collaborating closely with our development team to identify and address defects. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
• Work collaboratively with developers to identify, document, and troubleshoot defects in mobile apps.
• Perform manual and automated testing on different mobile operating systems and devices.
• Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and enhancements in apps.
• Ensure mobile applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare detailed and precise documentation of testing processes and results.
• Perform usability testing to evaluate the application’s user experience and interface.
• Investigate and reproduce reported defects to provide reliable insights for fixing.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, including blocking issues and risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in QA processes and methodologies.
• Utilize performance testing tools to assess app efficiency and responsiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality assurance testing for mobile applications.
• Familiarity with both iOS and Android mobile platforms and development environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Appium or Selenium, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively.
• Knowledge of performance testing and experience with analytical tools advantageous.
