Job Description

As a Patient Relations Executive, you are the bridge between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a seamless experience from initial contact through follow-up care. Your role is critical in cultivating a positive environment where patients feel valued and heard. You will manage patient inquiries and concerns, collaborate with clinical staff to enhance customer service, and ensure that all interactions are in accordance with the healthcare facility’s policies and standards. Your expertise in communication and problem-solving will be essential in handling sensitive situations with empathy and efficiency. By maintaining a supportive atmosphere, you contribute to patient satisfaction and loyalty, ultimately enhancing the reputation and operational success of the healthcare organization.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for patient inquiries and concerns.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies with patients and families.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to resolve patient issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and resolutions provided.
  • Analyze patient feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Coordinate with administrative and clinical teams to expedite service delivery.
  • Facilitate patient education regarding healthcare procedures and processes.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare facility policies and industry regulations.
  • Ensure patient information is handled with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Organize regular training sessions to enhance staff communication skills.
  • Spearhead initiatives that promote patient-centered care models within the organization.
  • Prepare reports on patient satisfaction metrics for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient relations or customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and discretion.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
