Job Description

As a Patient Administration Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of healthcare facilities. You will work closely with medical staff, patients, and other administrative personnel to manage patient records, appointments, billing, and customer service. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail. A Patient Administration Executive is often the first point of contact for patients, meaning you will be responsible for providing a welcoming and professional experience. Responsibilities

  • Manage and update patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff for optimal patient care.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and professionally.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide information with empathy and clarity.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and benefits.
  • Process billing and payments while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Organize and maintain administrative files in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Assist in preparing reports relating to patient data and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain communication with healthcare providers to streamline administrative tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve administrative issues as they arise in daily operations.
  • Participate in training and development activities to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare administration or related field.
  • Proven experience working in a healthcare administrative role or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in using healthcare management software and office applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and efficiency.
