Job Description

A Patient Admin Executive is a vital component of healthcare services, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of medical institutions. This role revolves around maintaining patient documentation, streamlining appointments, handling inquiries, and coordinating administrative tasks to provide exceptional patient care services. Working closely with healthcare professionals, the Patient Admin Executive plays a crucial role in managing patient records, scheduling, and billing, which contribute significantly to enhancing patient satisfaction and organizational efficiency. This position requires excellent organizational abilities, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that the administrative aspects of patient care run flawlessly.


Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in scheduling appointments and managing their medical consultations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient information and activities.
  • Handle patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department if necessary.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care services.
  • Oversee the billing process, including verification of insurance information and processing payments.
  • Organize and manage patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to enhance overall clinic workflow efficiency.
  • Prepare routine administrative reports and maintain a comprehensive patient database.
  • Ensure all medical and administrative supplies are adequately stocked and orders are placed timely.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers for improved service delivery.
  • Assist in developing and implementing office policies and procedures for consistency.
  • Support team meetings by preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes for record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role required.
  • Strong proficiency in using medical scheduling software and electronic health records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service and relationship building.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
