The Organizational Development Officer plays a critical role in enhancing the effectiveness of an organization through strategic initiatives and change management. This position is responsible for working closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to identify organizational goals, develop plans to support those goals through people strategies, and lead efforts to improve organizational performance and capabilities. The successful candidate will be an experienced change agent, adept at managing complex organizational challenges and driving transformation. With a deep understanding of organizational dynamics, the officer will leverage data, industry insights, and best practices to implement sustainable solutions that foster a culture of continuous growth and development within the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with leaders to devise strategic plans that enhance company performance.
  • Develop training programs that address identified skill gaps within teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and focus groups to gather feedback from employees.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor and report on development initiatives.
  • Implement change management processes to ensure smooth transitions during restructuring.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop and improve talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Lead and manage projects aimed at improving organizational efficiency and culture.
  • Support executive leadership in executing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Create communication plans to keep the workforce informed and engaged in changes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives, recommending improvements.
  • Maintain a network of industry contacts to benchmark and share best practices.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in organizational development roles.
  • Strong understanding of change management and business transformation processes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in conducting organizational assessments and developing improvement strategies.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to inform strategic decision-making processes.
