MEP Engineer (225-901)

An MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Engineer is an essential part of the construction and building design industry. The role involves designing and implementing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems in a variety of construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures. MEP Engineers ensure that these systems work in tandem with the building architecture, maintaining functionality, safety, and sustainability. Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various building projects.

• Review and approve supplier and contractor proposals and submissions for MEP systems.

• Oversee the installation of MEP systems and conduct quality assurance reviews.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the commissioning of MEP systems.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations in MEP engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP engineering and construction project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools is required.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards relevant to MEP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex engineering challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines and work within budget constraints.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for negotiating with vendors and contractors.
