Job Description

A Medical Representative, also known as a pharmaceutical sales representative, plays a vital role in the healthcare industry by promoting and selling their company's products, which could include pharmaceutical drugs, medical equipment, or health care services. This role is crucial as it involves detailed knowledge of the products, the science behind them, and the ability to communicate complex information in a manner that is both informative and persuasive. Medical Representatives work to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and medical staff. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey product benefits to clients.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships and meet sales goals consistently.
  • High level of motivation, commitment, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and manage a diverse geographical territory.
