Job Description

The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for an entire organization (or lines of business and brands within an organization) to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The primary responsibility of the marketing manager is to manage and coordinate marketing and creative staff, lead market research efforts to uncover the viability of current and existing products/services, and liaise with media organizations and advertising agencies. The marketing manager must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong organizational and project management skills. They are responsible for working closely with other departments to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with the organization's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, innovative, and ready to take on significant challenges that align with the organization's overall vision and mission.


Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic marketing plans for the organization, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Manage and guide the team in executing marketing campaigns efficiently.
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Monitor trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for marketing innovation.
  • Work with the product development team to refine market positioning for new products.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure aligned marketing content and campaigns.
  • Oversee the company’s digital marketing activities, including social media and online advertising.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns against goals.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry leaders and stakeholders.
  • Manage the preparation and delivery of marketing materials, including presentations and proposals.
  • Ensure that all marketing communications are aligned with the brand and voice guidelines.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing a successful team in marketing strategy.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking for strategic decision-making.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
