About Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is an exclusive beachside resort located in the west crescent of Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. Inspired by the palaces of the Ottoman Empire, the resort is home to the award-winning Talise Ottoman Spa, a curated selection of restaurants, and family-friendly experiences. Guests can also enjoy water sports, with a private jetty offering shuttle boat transfers to and from the mainland of Dubai.

About The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Beach Operation Manager to join the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray team. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Ensure exceptional guest service and satisfaction by overseeing all beach operations, including guest arrivals, beach amenities, cabana services, and water sports activities.
  • Manage, train, and motivate the beach operations team (lifeguards, attendants, service staff) to maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, and guest interaction.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including lifeguard coverage, first aid readiness, and compliance with local regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of beach facilities, umbrellas, loungers, water sports equipment, and ensure everything is in excellent condition to meet luxury standards.
  • Collaborate closely with other hotel departments (food & beverage, housekeeping, security) to coordinate guest services and manage beach-related events or special requests seamlessly.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in beach operations, resort management, or a similar hospitality role, preferably within luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, knowledge of health and safety regulations related to beach and water activities, certification in lifeguard training and first aid/CPR (preferred but sometimes mandatory), and good organizational and problem-solving skills.
