About The Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Coordinator - Engineer to join the team in Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• Coordinate all engineering work requests from other hotel departments and assign them to appropriate technicians.
• Maintain and monitor preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, laundry, HVAC systems, and other hotel equipment.
• Track completion of daily maintenance tasks, service orders, and guest complaints through the CMMS or manual logs.
• Maintain engineering records including PPM checklists, inspection logs, compliance certificates, and inventory records.
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for service calls, repairs, inspections, and project work.
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or related field is advantage
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in hotel engineering operations or engineering administration.
• Knowledge of hotel facilities and technical systems (HVAC, plumbing, kitchen equipment, elevators, BMS, etc.).
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); Opera or HotSOS experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
