Job Description

As a Logistics Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating the logistics operations of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring that our products are transported efficiently, safely, and on time. You will work closely with logistics providers, vendors, and internal teams to optimize procedures, manage costs, and implement innovative logistics strategies. Your analytical skills will be essential in anticipating logistical challenges and solving problems swiftly. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Utilize logistics management software to plan and track shipments efficiently.
  • Oversee the handling and transportation of goods for safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to align logistics.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate logistics personnel for maximum productivity.
  • Identify areas for improvement in logistics processes and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all operations.
  • Analyze and review delivery performance to maintain high service levels.
  • Manage logistics budgets and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
  • Develop strategic plans to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Resolve logistics issues and customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and present reports on logistics operations and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain roles with leadership responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and tools for efficient shipment tracking.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with partners.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team of logistics personnel.
  • Strong analytical skills to anticipate and resolve logistical challenges promptly.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
