As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play an essential role in overseeing and managing the supply chain operations for our organization. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the entire logistical operations from start to finish.
  • Utilize various transportation systems to manage the shipment processes effectively.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and carriers to address any issues promptly.
  • Develop efficient systems to optimize logistical activities and reduce costs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations according to schedule.
  • Monitor shipments and update stakeholders about the progress and delivery status.
  • Prepare and maintain all relevant documentation related to shipments and deliveries.
  • Address and resolve any logistical discrepancies or issues in coordination with departments.
  • Analyze current logistics processes for opportunities to enhance service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for transportation operations.
  • Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts with logistics providers.
  • Track, evaluate, and report the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of logistics processes, planning, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
