Job Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our technological infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support to our staff and clients, resolving IT issues, and maintaining a secure and effective IT environment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of IT systems and networks. You will work collaboratively with other team members to develop and implement technical solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to company employees and resolve IT-related issues effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues promptly and accurately.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation and reliability.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, and anti-spam systems.
  • Document problem resolutions, processes, and system updates in detail.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on projects and technology implementations.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT technology.
  • Participate in the testing and rollout of new applications and systems.
  • Offer training to staff on new hardware or software introduced.
  • Ensure timely escalation of unresolved issues to higher-level support or vendors.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an IT support or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments and enterprise applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service focus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to diagnose tech issues.
