ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of software solutions through thorough testing and validation processes. (Salesforce is a plus)
This role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of Software applications.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of Software applications.
If the resource is already worked with Salesforce platform(configurations and customizations), is plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Test Planning and Design:
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Develop and maintain test scenarios, scripts, and data sets for Salesforce applications.
• Ensure test coverage for various aspects of Salesforce, including customizations, integrations, workflows, and security.
2. Test Execution:
• Execute test cases and record test results in a structured manner.
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing as necessary.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not covered by existing test cases.
3. Defect Identification and Management:
• Document and report defects using a designated defect tracking tool.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and verify fixes.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
4. Environment Management:
• Set up and maintain test environments to mirror production configurations.
• Coordinate with administrators and developers to ensure data integrity and availability for testing.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Generate and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Produce test summary reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
6. Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with Salesforce best practices, release notes, and industry trends.
• Contribute to process improvements within the QA function and recommend enhancements to testing methodologies
