IT Project Manager (225-909)

An IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing technology projects within an organization, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves working closely with various teams, including cross-functional and technical teams, to deliver projects that align with business goals and objectives. The IT Project Manager must possess excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills to successfully coordinate tasks, manage resources, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and in-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, as well as the ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology environments and organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget constraints.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress and project status.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques to ensure success.
• Report and escalate issues to management as needed for resolution and guidance.
• Perform risk management analysis to minimize project risks and challenges.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors for optimized project delivery.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements for current and future projects.
• Work with project stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery of project objectives.
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven work experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with leadership capabilities.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in managing large-scale IT projects with multiple dependencies.
• Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project and Asana.
