Job Description

An Inside Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role within the sales department, serving as a crucial link between potential clients and the sales team. This position focuses on supporting the sales team by managing, coordinating, and generating sales leads and activities. The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing sales orders, and providing exemplary customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales team to streamline and optimize sales processes and initiatives.
  • Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of sales orders and documentation.
  • Maintain an up-to-date customer database to ensure accurate information is available.
  • Schedule sales meetings and appointments, preparing necessary documents for sales representatives.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and key performance indicators regularly.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with current promotions and campaigns.
  • Generate and qualify sales leads by conducting market research and outreach activities.
  • Liaise between the sales team and customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team to aid in reaching sales targets.
  • Assist in training new sales team members on company policies and sales protocol.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics to ensure prompt delivery of products to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a sales coordinator or similar role is highly regarded.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to track performance metrics and assess business strategies.
