Job Description

The Inbound Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and optimizing the inflow of goods and materials necessary for the seamless production and delivery of products. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze supply chain processes and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that all procurement activities comply with company standards and regulations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Inbound Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials, components, and parts from diverse suppliers. This role is crucial for maintaining a smooth and efficient supply chain that supports the company's operational goals and enhances its competitive edge in the market.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize all inbound supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans in alignment with company objectives.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align supply chain activities.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies to gain competitive advantages.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and company policies at all times.
  • Foster strong relationships with global suppliers to support sustainable supply chain processes.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of suppliers to maintain quality standards.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions effectively.
  • Collaborate on continuous improvement projects to enhance supply chain efficiency and accuracy.
  • Utilize analytics and data-driven approaches to optimize procurement and logistic processes.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the inbound supply chain team to achieve department goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in supply chain management or procurement.
  • Proven track record in managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain software solutions is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
