Job Description

The Human Resources (HR) Officer plays a crucial role in the HR department, primarily focusing on delivering comprehensive HR services to support the organization's strategic and operational goals. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage HR functions and initiatives effectively by applying established human resources standards. The HR Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization fosters a productive, efficient, and respectful workplace. They work closely with employees and management to maintain and improve employee relations, streamline HR procedures, and handle employee queries promptly. A successful HR Officer will demonstrate strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR policies and employment law, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Manage recruitment processes including job posting, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes for smooth integration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR databases.
  • Facilitate employee performance reviews and provide feedback mechanisms.
  • Address employee relations issues and manage conflict resolution processes.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs to enhance skills.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and communicate offerings effectively.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management decision-making purposes.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Advise management on employee and labor relations matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in all HR practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle workplace disputes effectively.
