Job Description

An HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting all facets of human resources management within an organization. The individual in this position will be responsible for handling various HR duties, including recruitment, employee onboarding, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance. As an HR Generalist, you will be the face of the company's human resources department, ensuring that all HR initiatives are aligned with the business objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work culture. You will engage with both management and staff to foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communications skills, along with a deep understanding of HR policies and practices to effectively address organizational needs and contribute to employee satisfaction and development.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process from job posting to candidate onboarding.
  • Facilitate new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues with a focus on conflict resolution.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR regulations at all levels.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions aimed at skill development and enhancement.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration and update as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases effectively.
  • Develop HR strategies that support and align with business objectives.
  • Manage leaves of absence, including tracking and policy management.
  • Participate in HR projects that promote organizational growth and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are needed.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite is required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
