Job Description

An HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department in efficiently and smoothly running its operations. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, and supporting HR management with administrative tasks. As an HR Assistant, you'll need to be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment. You will be the point of contact for employees on HR-related queries and work closely with various departments, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update databases with current information.
  • Support HR managers with daily clerical tasks such as filing and document management.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials.
  • Prepare and distribute orientation agendas and employee engagement activities.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure timely and accurate distribution of salaries.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures promptly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Coordinate logistics for HR events and training sessions as needed.
  • Handle sensitive information in confidential and professional manner.
  • Compile and update employee records based on departmental changes and promotions.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary to maintain stock levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role or administrative support role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software applications is required.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
