The HR Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of human resources processes within an organization. This position supports the HR department in various administrative tasks and is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of HR initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews and conducting initial screenings.

  • Help prepare and update HR documentation, including employment contracts and job descriptions.
  • Manage calendars and schedule meetings for HR staff and departmental activities.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies promptly.
  • Coordinate employee orientation sessions to ensure smooth new-hire integration.
  • Maintain digital and physical filing systems for HR documents and records.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations by conducting regular audits.
  • Assist in processing payroll by collecting and entering data accurately.
  • Organize company events, workshops, and training sessions as needed.
  • Support the HR department with day-to-day administrative tasks and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in human resources.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software for efficient management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
