As a Healthcare Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. You will work closely with healthcare managers to identify staffing needs and ensure the organization's workforce is adequately staffed to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with healthcare department managers to understand staffing needs and establish recruitment priorities.
Identify and anticipate future staffing requirements based on departmental growth and patient volume.
Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, healthcare associations, and networking events.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates.
Review resumes and applications to identify suitable candidates.
Conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with the organization.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with department managers.
Verify the credentials, licenses, certifications, and background checks of healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage salary negotiations and compensation packages in collaboration with the HR team.
Extend offers of employment and coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare industry regulations and standards related to hiring and credentialing.
Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate information and recruitment activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and healthcare industry contacts.
Provide excellent candidate experiences throughout the recruitment process.
Generate recruitment reports and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to the recruitment process.
Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor recruitment strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Prior experience in healthcare recruitment or a related role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of healthcare roles, qualifications, and industry regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to healthcare recruitment.
