Your Role

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our team of design thinkers and doers who specialize in helping to tell stories and create experiences in the context of the built environment. You will join a multi-disciplinary team working on an array of internal initiatives and external projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Working alongside the Co-Firm Managing Principals, you will have a key role in developing visual communication material, presentations, and graphic collateral. As a Graphic Designer, you will have stellar conceptual and hands-on design experience and show a portfolio of work that is clean, elegant, compelling, and highly creative – your work must draw people in and make them want to see, learn and hear more. You must love to push new ideas, be passionate about design, get excited about being a part of extremely diverse projects and thrive off working alongside some exceptionally talented creative leaders.

You’ll have a key role working with various teams across the globe and should have the ability to manage your own projects independently and with a team collaboratively. As part of a global team, some schedule flexibility is required to meet deadlines.

A portfolio is required for consideration. We’re looking for extremely compelling and creative examples of your work with a focus on storytelling and graphic design that grabs attention quickly, communicates clearly, and makes people want to know more. 

What You Will Do

  • Work with the firm’s Co-Managing Principals and Leadership Operations Committee to develop digital, print, and event collateral in support of key messaging.
  • Strategize, conceptualize, and develop visually compelling collateral including internal and external presentations, event materials, microsites, publications, infographics, and email campaigns
  • Exhibit expertise in storytelling with a clear strategy in place to support your ideas and design concepts
  • Provide design direction and interface with multiple creative teams, including marketing, communications, and practitioners, in support of cross-media initiatives
  • Be able to multitask, working on various projects at once, often with tight deadlines and with careful attention to detail
  • Provide graphics support for internal presentations and special projects as assigned

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in an admired in-house creative, communications, or marketing department
  • Demonstrate solid experience in Graphic Design with strong communication skills and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to internal and external audiences
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well with a wide range of leadership in a fast-paced work environment
  • Comprehend projects at a high level to anticipate and avoid potential roadblocks
  • Proven ability to work as a member of an integrated team and independently
  • Up to date with popular culture and trends
  • Highly creative individual with experience in communication design
  • Strong organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Technical excellence/high proficiency using the Adobe Creative Cloud family, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of Premiere and After Effects a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products – Sharepoint, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and HTML
  • Foundational understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, color, and information design
  • Video editing experience is a plus
  • Design portfolio is required for consideration
