Job Description
- Client > Management Consulting Company
- Ideal Candidate > The Ideal is specialized in CAPEX (Capital Expenditures) focus on optimizing the procurement process for high-value, long-term investments such as machinery, infrastructure, construction projects, and large-scale equipment. His/Her role is critical in ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, risk mitigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Tasks > Define procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and budgets; Assess make-or-buy decisions for capital assets; Identify opportunities for cost savings and value improvement; Conduct Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs; Use Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models to assess supplier bids; Develop and negotiate long-term contracts with suppliers; Manage risks related to pricing, delivery timelines, and supplier reliability; Implement cost reduction strategies such as bulk purchasing, supplier consolidation, and value engineering; Implement e-procurement tools and ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle, Coupa); Collaborate with finance, engineering, and operations teams to align procurement with project goals; Evaluate vendor reliability, quality, and compliance.
- Requisites > Consulting attitude and experience in Consulting Tier 2-3; previous experience in Procurement projects; Arabic Speaker preferred, English also working well; interested in a very challenging context to work with.
- Workload/Location> Full-time, Abu Dhabi, on ground
- Start-date > Immediate need > the Candidate needs to give availability within 15-20 days after Engagement Confirmation Letter
- Period of engagement > Permanent
- Rate > able to attract more qualified candidates
