Functional Consultant- Odoo (225-711)

As a Functional Consultant specializing in Odoo, you will play a pivotal role in helping businesses optimize their processes through the efficient and effective use of Odoo software. You will analyze, design, and implement functional solutions tailored to meet client-specific needs. This role involves close collaboration with clients to understand their business processes and then translate those into efficient business solutions using the Odoo platform. Your expertise will ensure that the deployment of the ERP solution effectively streamlines operations and supports the client’s strategic objectives. You will also be instrumental in training users, ensuring they can utilize the software to its full potential. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client business requirements and processes to propose solutions.
• Design Odoo configurations and customizations to meet client-specific business needs.
• Conduct demonstrations and training sessions for users to maximize software adoption.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve any user queries or issues.
• Document detailed business and functional requirements to guide technical teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure functional requirements are implemented accurately.
• Evaluate client business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvements.
• Assist with data migration and integration between Odoo and other business systems.
• Prepare and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships to support them as their business evolves.
• Stay updated on new Odoo features and integrations to provide the best possible advice.
• Ensure compliance with best practices and methodologies in ERP solution delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Odoo or similar ERP software as a Functional Consultant.
• Strong understanding of business processes across various industries and functions.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business needs.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with clients.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with Python programming is a plus, although not a mandatory requirement.
