As a Fire Design and Estimation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of fire suppression systems in various projects. You will be responsible for designing comprehensive fire protection systems and accurately estimating the costs associated with these projects. Your role will involve working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to interpret and implement design requirements specific to fire safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed fire protection system designs based on project specifications and regulations.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire design and installation projects.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers to integrate fire safety designs seamlessly.
• Evaluate and select appropriate fire safety equipment and materials for each project.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with fire codes and safety standards.
• Review and interpret architectural plans and engineering drawings related to fire safety.
• Prepare and present detailed project proposals and reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to source materials and manage project budgets.
• Stay updated on the latest fire safety regulations and technological advancements.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction and installation phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in fire protection design and estimation roles.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes, including NFPA and local regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design and estimation software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
