Job Description

A Field Sales Executive is a critical part of a company’s revenue generation team, responsible for driving sales by interacting directly with customers and clients. This role involves traveling to different locations within an assigned geographical area to meet with potential clients and sell products or services. A Field Sales Executive must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to build and maintain robust relationships with clients, and a strong motivation to meet sales targets. This position requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and ensure customer satisfaction, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the sales department.


Responsibilities

  • Meet with potential and existing clients to discuss and sell products and services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage prospects through to closing the sale.
  • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure continued customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and report on progress regularly.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort.
  • Engage in marketing initiatives and campaigns to promote the company’s offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients.
  • Analyze market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements and contracts.
  • Create and manage a sales plan based on strategic goals and customer-driven insights.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to sales management regarding competition and market trends.
  • Follow up after sales to ensure client satisfaction and identify additional needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Executive or a similar role in the sales industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
  • High proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and achieving results.
  • Capacity to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
