We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Email Marketing Manager with a strong passion for marketing automation, efficient processes, and driving results through segmentation and personalization. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing automated email flows across marketing and transactional touchpoints. This role demands both strategic thinking and tactical execution, including building emails in both HTML and block-based editors, particularly using Emarsys, Klaviyo, Mailchimp and other industry-standard tools.
We are also looking for individuals with strong content creation and research abilities, people who can craft compelling copy, gather audience insights, and apply findings to improve campaign performance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize automated email flows (marketing and transactional) using Emarsys, Klaviyo, and similar platforms.
Manage full-cycle email campaigns, including strategy, segmentation, template design, A/B testing, scheduling, and performance reporting.
Create responsive emails using both HTML and drag-and-drop/block-based editors.
Develop and maintain process documentation, workflow automation, and best practices to streamline email marketing operations.
Lead segmentation strategies for B2B audiences, ensuring targeted, relevant communication based on customer behaviour, lifecycle stage, and demographic data.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, design, and data teams to align messaging and drive conversion.
Research industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitor activity to inform campaign strategies.
Produce high-quality email content tailored to audience segments, maintaining brand voice and engagement.
Monitor deliverability, compliance, and performance KPIs (open rate, CTR, CVR, unsubscribe, etc.), and implement optimization initiatives.
Stay current with email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in email marketing with a proven track record of managing automated flows for both marketing and transactional emails.
Proficient in Emarsys, Klaviyo, and other common email platforms/editors.
Strong hands-on skills with HTML/CSS for email design and troubleshooting.
Deep understanding of B2B segmentation and list management strategies.
Experience with CRM systems, customer journey mapping, and lifecycle marketing.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and translate insights into action.
Strong skills in content creation, including writing persuasive and tailored email copy.
Ability to conduct and apply research to improve messaging, targeting, and performance.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for automation and process improvement.
Familiarity with compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with additional tools like HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, etc.
Familiarity with AMP for email, personalization engines, or predictive analytics.
Understanding of basic scripting or logic-based email personalization.
