HSE Coordinator

Job Description

  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental awareness throughout the organization.
  • Provide food safety trainings to culinary team members and those who are dealing with food services.
  • Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, to identify non-compliance issues and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze HSE performance data, preparing reports and presenting key findings to management to drive continuous improvement and corrective action.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and management, to promote a cohesive HSE approach across the organization. Communicate HSE initiatives, goals, and performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Prepare monthly dashboards for all audits conducted in the month and share in Management meetings

Qualifications

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science,
  • Relevant certifications in HSE,
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in HSE roles within the Hospitality industry or related fields.
  • Qualified auditor and fully aware of audit techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey HSE concepts and requirements clearly to a diverse audience.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Proficient in using HSE software, Microsoft Office and other relevant tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong team player capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared HSE objectives.
  • Maintain accurate health and safety records
  • Adhere to all organization policies and procedures
