Driver

The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, goods, or services from one location to another. The role requires a high degree of professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to road safety regulations. As a Driver, you will ensure that all travel logistics are seamless, and any vehicle under your care is well-maintained and operated in a manner that reflects positively on the company. You will be expected to conduct pre-trip inspections, report any mechanical issues promptly, and maintain a high level of customer service at all times. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in dynamic environments and possesses a keen knowledge of road networks.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers, goods, or merchandise to specified destinations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles before and after each trip.
• Strictly adhere to all traffic laws and regulations for safe driving.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of trips and transport activities.
• Report any accidents, delays, or traffic disruptions to the relevant authorities.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as refueling and checking oil levels.
• Keep the vehicle clean and sanitize interior regularly for passenger safety.
• Navigational proficiency in using maps, GPS systems, and route planning tools.
• Exhibit a high level of customer service and address passenger inquiries courteously.
• Manage and secure parcels and cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and other drivers for optimized service delivery.
• Stay informed about road closures, weather conditions, and traffic patterns.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory at least one-year experience.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with passengers and dispatchers.
• Ability to navigate roads using Non-GPS/ GPS and manual map systems proficiently.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parcels if necessary.
