Job Description: Daycare Teacher

A Daycare Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children in a daycare setting. The teacher will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, and ensure the overall well-being of the children under their care. They will also communicate effectively with parents and maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily activities that promote learning and development.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for the children.
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress.
• Manage classroom behavior and resolve conflicts among children.
• Monitor and record children's progress and development.
• Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and hygienic classroom.
• Attend professional development workshops and training sessions.
• Build positive relationships with children and provide emotional support when needed.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all children and families.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, compassionate, and dedicated to providing quality care for children.

• Proven experience as a Child Care / Daycare Teacher
• Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods
• Methodical and creative
• Patience, flexibility and love for children
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Certificate in first aid and CPR
• Degree in early childhood education
