A dynamic and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk is required for our bustling office environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional typing skills and an eye for detail, ensuring the accurate and efficient entry of data into our systems. This role requires a methodical individual who can handle a variety of tasks, from inputting confidential information to cross-referencing data to verify accuracy. The Data Entry Clerk will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and validation of the company's databases and must exhibit a high level of organization as data accuracy is paramount. In addition to these core responsibilities, the successful candidate will work closely with other team members to streamline data collection processes and enhance data quality and integrity. An ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and demonstrate a high level of communication skills is essential to thrive in this position. The candidate should feel comfortable working with a variety of data-entry tools and possess a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of all information.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately input a high volume of information into company databases.
  • Compile, verify, and sort information for accurate data entry processes.
  • Review and correct data errors promptly and accurately as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company data.
  • Cross-check data for discrepancies and report issues to management.
  • Prepare data reports and summaries for various stakeholders in the organization.
  • Assist in the development of data entry processes to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
  • Respond promptly to information requests from different organizational units.
  • Organize and maintain files for easy retrieval and historical recordkeeping.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Proven experience of one year in a data entry position.
  • Demonstrated ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is necessary.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion always.
