Job Description

The Customer Service Executive for Freight & Logistics plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of logistics and freight services. This role is pivotal in maintaining relationships with customers and managing all aspects of the customer service process within the logistics chain. Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth freight and logistics operations.
  • Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Handle inquiries related to logistics services and provide accurate information to clients.
  • Prepare and present reports on customer service metrics and logistics efficiency.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all customer interactions and service activities.
  • Provide support in billing and invoicing processes to ensure timely payments.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of service improvement programs.
  • Update customers on shipment statuses and logistics issues as they arise.
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery and operational processes.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by providing logistical support and information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in freight or logistics customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle complex client issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word applications.
  • Experience with logistics management software and CRM systems is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and delivering quality service.
