About The Role
Our Trade teams provide a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, offering our commercial customers a service, delivering bulk quantities of stock to work sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manage their project with a ‘whole of build’ solution. We stock a select number of core builders’ lines, that allows our customers to build from the slab up.
Everything from timber, insulation, cladding, windows, doors and appliances

What’s Involved
- First point of contact with customers - day-to-day sales support of in-bound calls, emails and some face-to-face interactions
- Build strong relationships with all Internal stakeholders such as Account Managers and local stores
- Listen & action customer feedback to improve overall customer service experience whilst supporting the relationship and retention of our customer base
- Support accurate orders for our account management teams
- Process Purchase Orders for our Clients
- Be the conduit between our customer service teams & order fulfilment sites
- Work with our CRM system stakeholders to ensure all interactions are delivered through this system to become one point for our customers
- Contribute to a great team culture
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will share a genuine passion for retail and customer service as we do and be complimentary to the wider Trade Centre team. You will have previous experience in a customer centric role, have strong communication skills – both written and verbal and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
This role is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys a variety and wants to part of not only the business success, but success of customer projects.
You’ll Need
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Strong planning & organisational skills
- Have confidence in influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise tasks & manage time effectively
- Attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn (processes and systems)
- Building knowledge or experience would be advantageous
