Commercial Operations Specialist - MENA: The Commercial Operations Specialist for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial processes within a dynamic market. This position demands a strategic thinker capable of navigating the complexities of diverse markets across the MENA region. The specialist is entrusted with the responsibility of optimizing sales and operational efficiencies, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving business revenues through astute commercial insights and operations management. In this role, the individual will work closely with various departments to align commercial strategies with corporate goals, while also tailoring practices to fit the unique economic and cultural landscape of each country within the MENA region. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen understanding of market trends, regulatory environments, and consumer behaviors. The successful candidate will not only contribute to the execution of the company’s commercial strategy but also serve as a catalyst for innovation, identifying opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies in the MENA region.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Manage supply chain dynamics to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain market positioning.
  • Facilitate communication across departments, ensuring alignment with regional objectives.
  • Oversee the performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders and regional partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical business practices in MENA markets.
  • Provide insightful reports and dashboards for management decision-making processes.
  • Support finance teams in managing budgets and forecasting for the region.
  • Lead training and development efforts to build commercial capabilities across the team.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in a commercial operations role.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies in the MENA region.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
  • Proficiency in Arabic or another local language is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Willingness to travel within the MENA region as business needs dictate.
