The role of a Business Development Manager in Facility Management is a pivotal one, requiring a dynamic professional to drive growth and expand the client base for a facility management company. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forging strong relationships with clients, and ensuring that all facility management services meet or exceed client expectations. Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for facility management services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth targets.

  • Negotiate contracts with clients to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote facility management services.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on market trends and business development progress.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in business development roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Strong understanding of the facility management industry and service offerings.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for client management.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills to close deals effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and identify business opportunities.
