Gastroenterologist-DHA (225-923)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team in Dubai. As a licensed DHA Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders. This role requires a deep understanding of gastrointestinal health and the ability to perform a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive care plan tailored to each patient's needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and a commitment to advancing medical knowledge in the field of gastroenterology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and diagnoses of gastrointestinal conditions in patients.
• Perform a variety of diagnostic tests including endoscopies and colonoscopies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings and patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about digestive system health and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal standards.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in gastroenterology.
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Prescribe and monitor the effectiveness of medications and therapies.
• Respond to patient inquiries and emergencies with professional expertise and compassion.
• Support and mentor junior medical staff and trainees in clinical practice.
• Advocate for evidence-based practices and quality standards in patient care.

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Valid DHA licensure or eligibility to practice as a Gastroenterologist in Dubai.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology, including diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
• Proven ability to perform gastroenterological procedures safely and effectively.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and the principles of medical ethics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex conditions.
