Automation Test Engineer (225-1005)

An Automation Test Engineer plays a vital role in the software development lifecycle by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure that new, modified, or upgraded software applications perform as expected. This position requires a keen attention to detail, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and a solid grasp of automation frameworks and tools. Automation Test Engineers work collaboratively with developers, QA managers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements, manage testing processes, and integrate testing protocols with continuous integration systems. With a focus on maximizing test coverage and efficiency, they help in identifying defects and troubleshooting issues early in the development stage, thereby enhancing software quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using the latest automation tools.
• Collaborate closely with software developers to understand application functionalities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role seen.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, etc.
• Strong understanding of various software testing methodologies and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and Agile environment.
