The role of Associate - Fleet Operations is crucial to ensuring the effective management and operation of fleet vehicles within a company. Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the fleet to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain detailed records of fleet maintenance, repairs, and service history.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of the fleet budget, monitoring expenses regularly.
  • Compile and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide support in the acquisition and disposal of fleet assets as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the team to address any fleet-related issues or emergencies promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the fleet meets safety and quality standards.
  • Support the implementation of fleet management software and tools.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in fleet management or operations will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with teams and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management and analysis.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
