About Madinat Jumeirah:

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Housekeeping to join Jumeirah Al Naseem. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Oversee housekeeping attendants, ensure cleaning standards, manage master keys, equipment maintenance, and handle guest complaints.
  • Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B to ensure room readiness, maintenance scheduling, and special requests are handled efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and customer service standards.
  • Supervise staff punctuality, uniform standards, service quality, welfare, and conduct regular performance appraisals.
  • Develop and monitor training plans, ensure monthly training hours are met, and promote continuous professional development.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records, manage document control, support departmental planning, and follow up on outstanding matters.


About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • UAE National as per government requirements. 
  • Minimum 2 years in a junior management housekeeping role at a 5-star hotel; guest-facing department experience is an advantage.
  • Diploma in Hotel Operations or Hotel Management.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Opera PMS (Cloud) and HotSoS.
