Our client, a leading multinational logistics provider, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Airfreight Manager to assume full responsibility and lead the development of their air freight product.

This is a critical leadership role for an expert who can drive commercial growth while ensuring operational excellence.

The Role:

You will be the business owner for the air freight product, tasked with accelerating growth, securing competitive advantages, and leading a high-performing team. Your mandate is to solidify our

clients position as a market leader through strategic airline partnerships and flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial Strategy Management: Own and manage the growth of the air freight product vertical.
• Carrier Relations & Negotiation: Negotiating competitive rates and securing critical space allocations with airline partners.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a team of 10+ air freight professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key liaison between global agents, airline partners, major clients, and internal cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Customer Service).
• Operational Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the operations and customer service teams to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction are met.

You Are The Ideal Candidate If You Have:

• A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in air freight, with a strong background in commercial management and airline negotiations.
• A proven track record of leading and developing teams of 10 or more members.
• Demonstrated experience in key airline liaison role, with a history of securing favorable terms and building strong partner relationships.
• The strategic ability to manage a P&L and drive a products commercial success.
• Excellent collaboration skills to bridge commercial strategy with operational execution.
